IX IRCT International Symposium on Torture
Providing Reparation and Treatment, Preventing Impunity
9 - 10 December 2006 Berlin, Germany

An international symposium organised by the IRCT and the Berlin Center for the Treatment of Torture Victims (BZFO) will discuss the achievements and future challenges of torture rehabilitation and prevention.

The IX IRCT International Symposium on Torture will be held 9-10 December, immediately following the first meeting of the General Assembly of all centres in the IRCT network. The United Nations Human Rights Day, 10 December, was chosen as the closing day of the two-day symposium. The symposium will be held in English only.
