Mr. Byrne [holding answer 3 December 2007]: The investigation into the alleged mistreatment of Beatrice Guessi was referred by BIA to Hampshire Constabulary and is currently being investigated. If appropriate, the BIA investigation will continue once the outcome of the police investigation is known.
