Over 60 medical professionals, lawyers, policy workers, advocacy organisations, ex-detainees, detention centre visitors and campaigners attended.
It was agreed that a Medical Justice Working Group on Children in Detention would be established (working title : MJ-CiD) and the majority of participants indicated an intention to join.
