A coalition of churches are calling for the end to immigration detention of children.

* "Stephen", a Ugandan father whose family was detained. 

* Canon Nicholas Sagovsky, refused entry, together with 'Santa', into Yarl's Wood to deliver Christmas presents to detained children.

* David Wood from UKBA who said that organisations should work with UKBA to persuade asylum seeking and other migrant families to "go home".
